Violet M. Butt's Obituary
Violet M. Butt, 85, of New Haven, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at home. Born in Washington, D.C., she was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church, New Haven. She had worked for the US Census Bureau and the Library of Congress. She was passionate about her family.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ted; daughters, Deborah (Dale) Kohlmeier and Andra (Michael) Rosene both of New Haven; and grandchildren, Erin Kohlmeier, Zachary Kohlmeier, Jonathan Rosene, and Christopher Rosene. She was preceded in death by parents; one brother; and three sisters.
Funeral service is 3 p.m. Sunday September 16, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling Noon to 3 p.m. prior to service. Pastor Rick Taylor officiating. Burial is in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
