Ted, I was certainly saddened to see that Vi had passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences. I do not know your extended family, but I extend my condolences to all of them as well. Vi had such a vibrant personality and was just a fun person to be around. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Ted, ironically I visited the Nickle Plate R.R. facility yesterday (Sat.) in New Haven and was talking to a fellow who turned out to be your cousin Jim. He told me about you losing your wife, I want to extend my deepest heartfelt sympathies to you. I walked in those same shoes 8 yrs ago so I can empathize w/ you.
It is something a surviving spouse must endure, time in a way heals but leaves a terrible scar.
