To the Kohlmeier and Rosene families, and to Ted — our prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your sweet Violet. Although we were only blessed to call her our friend for a relatively short time, we will always remember her smile, playful sense of humor, the twinkle in her eye and pride in her voice as she spoke of her children and grandchildren. She said once that of all the wonderful things she had experienced in her life, the very best part was knowing what it was to be truly and completely loved by her family — all of you — who loved her so much and so well. May the memories of her love for each of you bring some sweet comfort. We send our love . . .
To my Love Bug, I will miss you always and will carry you in my heart forever. You were a wonderful woman in so many ways. It was an absolute pleaure to have cared for you in your last few days. You were a beautiful wife, mother, grandother, friend and neighbor. And we all will truly miss you bunches. Even though god has called her home her presence will still be in all of our hearts as she touched so many in her life. And to ted her loving husband of 63yrs, may god watch over you and guide you through this difficult time. My condolences to the entire family. Love Always
May you always rest in eternal peace Miss Violet i will miss you bunches.

Love your Little Love Bug
Ted, I was certainly saddened to see that Vi had passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences. I do not know your extended family, but I extend my condolences to all of them as well. Vi had such a vibrant personality and was just a fun person to be around. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Ted and family: I just learned about Vi's death today. You have my heartfelt sympathy at the difficult time. My memories of your wife, mother and grandmother were of a woman who was kind, giving and who loved her family, so much. I will always remember her musical laughter! Sincerely, Rosemarie Bostelman
Ted, ironically I visited the Nickle Plate R.R. facility yesterday (Sat.) in New Haven and was talking to a fellow who turned out to be your cousin Jim. He told me about you losing your wife, I want to extend my deepest heartfelt sympathies to you. I walked in those same shoes 8 yrs ago so I can empathize w/ you.
It is something a surviving spouse must endure, time in a way heals but leaves a terrible scar.
God be with you and your family!
