Viann Grace Ellsworth's Obituary
Viann Grace Ellsworth, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at home with her family by her side. Born in Lebanon, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Ruth Ann (Winters) McIntire. She was a member of Taylor Chapel Ministries, Fort Wayne and United Methodist Women. She retired from Park Center with over 20 years of service and was a member of the Indiana State Nurses Association. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and driving her Miata convertible.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mark; sons, Matthew, Nathan, and Jonathan Ellsworth; siblings, David (Judy) and John (Carol) McIntire, Maribeth (Walter) Brown, and Lorraine (David) Smith; and grandson, Fitzgerald Ellsworth. She was also preceded in death by sister, Diann McIntire.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Taylor Chapel Ministries, 10145 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Friday, June 14, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial at IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to IU Nursing Student Emergency Fund.
