Mom was a excellent cook and baker. She never measured anything. It was a pinch a dash or cup .
She always told the story that I was the only one of the 4 that was born in the hospital. When I was born she was asked what to name her boy and she said Ray Allen. My dad never Had the chance to say what name he wanted

My greatest memories of Vera were her wonderful smile, her great personality, and the pleasant visits I had with her. I send my condolences to the family.
