Terry L. Gerbers, 71, of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Bethlehem Woods Nursing, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Delmar and Patricia (Doctor) Gerbers. He was a member of Emanuel Read Obituary
When he would take me and my sisters ( his granddaughters) on lunch or breakfast dates and my dad and my uncle tony (his sons) he loved traveling and that is where I got my traveling jean from. I miss my Papaw a lot I just hope he is doing good up there (in Heaven)
I remember Terry fondly. He always was willing to help another person and quickly agreed to speak at any meeting when asked. He will be missed!

Sincere sympathy to Terry's family. I met Terry as my neighbor on Cobblestone Cove when I purchased my very first home all by myself. I would be living by myself and depending on only me. Terry was so very comforting knowing he lived in "the same" house as me as we owned our villaminiums. I could depend on Terry for anything as I learned to live on my own for the first time in my life. I can't thank him enough for helping me to feel accepted and safe. My mom and Pat, Terry’s mom road work for 35 years together. Terry took me to school my freshman high school with Tim,his deceased brother. So sorry for the loss
Worked with Terry at BFG. He also was my daughters neighbor in New Haven.
