Susan Mary Reinking's Obituary
Susan Mary Reinking, 69, of New Haven, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Majestic Care of New Haven. Born in Gladwin, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Otho "Doug" and Anne (Hogan) Douglas. She was a member of Martini Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed attending bible study and teaching Sunday school. She retired from Do It Best with over 15 years of service and previously worked for Custard Insurance Adjuster's. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and gardening. She loved being a mom and was a wonderful cook.
She is survived by her sons, Dan and David Reinking; sister, Karen Miller; and twin brother, Steve Douglas. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Dennis in 2016; and siblings, Tommy, Gary, Craig, and Sharon Douglas.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Martini Lutheran Church, 333 Moeller Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Kyle Brown officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
