James A Heimann
We had 40 years of shared stories. Over early morning coffee I learned about Marco Island, Lake George, the Decatur office and the DuPont Vision Center. He got just as excited about buying an old gold coin or the fish he caught on a solitary adventure in the Everglades. If you gave him a chance, he would tell you the traffic count on Dupont Road.
He shared a wealth of information and experiences and he was a good friend. When I visited him in Lincolnshire he would shout out: "Here comes the judge." He always recognized me.
He would be walking lap after a lap in the outside area, even when it was bitter cold, holding that clicker in his hand so he could keep track of the number of laps.
During my last visit he was bedridden and the last words we shared were the words of the Lord's Prayer.
May he rest in peace and may God bless his family and friends.
