Oliver A. "Pete" Grabner's Obituary
Oliver "Pete" A. Grabner, 95, of Fort Wayne died Friday, January 20, 2012 at New Haven Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Edgerton, Indiana he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Jenny Grabner. He attended the Edgerton Methodist Church, Edgerton, Indiana. The WWII Army veteran was a member of Woodburn American Legion Post 377. He retired in 1977 from International Harvester after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Halice; brother-in-law, Major Klinker of Payne, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Pastor David Dignal officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial is in Lehman Cemetery, Payne, Ohio. Preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice.
