MONTY ALLEN ASHBY, 27, of New Haven, left this world to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Orlando, Florida. Born April, 29, 1983, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Jeff Ashby and Gayla Geise Gremaux. He was currently attending MMI School in Orlando, Florida.
He is survived by his English Bulldog, Tater; mother, Gayla Geise (Terry) Gremaux; father, Jeff (Diane) Ashby; brother, Dustin (Brittany) Ashby; step-brothers, Josh (Megan) Gremaux, Brandon (Trisha) Gremaux; step-sister, Terri Lee; grandparents, Vernon and Jane Ashby, Bud and Lucille Gremaux and William and Lois Eggengberger; aunts and uncles, Babie (Phil) Merrill, Shawn (Jessica) Pickett, Patty (Jerry) Dager, Chris Ashby, Harold (MaryAnn) Cattran, Kevin (Debbie) Cattran, Dale (Yonny) Cattran, Amy (Phil) Gevas, Jack (Joanne) Eggenberger, Greg (Joyce) Geise, Gina (John) Hessler, and Todd (Beth) Gremaux; twenty cousins; and special family cousins, Franks', Douglas' and the Wright's. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lee and Virginia Geise; and paternal grandparents, Dale and Joann Pickett.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, East Allen Church of Christ, 3800 Minnich Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Everett Confer officiating. Calling is also 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. In lieu of flowers preferred memorials are to the family, c/o Jeff Ashby.
