Melvin T. Downs, 74, of Woodburn died September 9, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Springfield, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert and Candy Downs. He served his country in the US Air Force, and Read Obituary
We really enjoyed the many years we worked with Mel, he had an exceptional memory that blessed all of us that worked with him , never complaining, always joking, he was an exceptional man. He was always sending me to the vending machine in hunt of a candy bar that did not exist. Jeff always said " He was the BEST parts man in the world"
Sorry to hear of Melvin's passing. He will be missed by us all. Brings back many old and great memories. From Bob & Barbara (Rutherford) Wiseman, Carl & Judy (Rutherford) Bostick, and the rest of the Rutherford family. Go with God!

Very sorry of Melvin's passing . He did look a lot like his Grandfather. I can remember when his family would visit my Mamaws who would have been his Aunt
