Mary Louise Sims' Obituary
Mary Louise Sims, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edna (Sutton) DeHaven, who survives. She was employed at The Hearing Center for 12 years. She enjoyed reading, going to the beach, NASCAR, floating in her pool and camping. She also loved spending time with her family and her cats. Her heart was also always with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is also survived by her husband of 14 years, Steve Sims; children, Stacie (Nathan) McNeal and Tylar Brockhouse; stepchildren, Kirstie and Zachary Sims; siblings, Denise Rollins and Dana DeHaven; and six grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jerry Rollins. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Friday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Calling also 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
