Marlene Faye Lines' Obituary
Marlene Faye Lines, 82, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Berne, she was the daughter of the late Oswin and Esther (Kneuss) Amstutz. She attended Lifeway Wesleyan Church, Fort Wayne. She worked at Christian Counseling Centers of Indiana for over 15 years and was the former Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship. She had a passion for teaching children.
She is survived by daughters, Luann Gerardot of Bluffton and Lori Maroney of Hilliard, OH; siblings, Keith (Gloria) Amstutz of New Haven and Gyneth (Amos) Coblentz of Berne; grandchildren, Sara Radosevich, Jennifer (Gerardot) King and Michele (Gerardot) Rumbold; six great grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son Roderick “Rod” Lines in 2000; and brother, Valier Amstutz in 2006.
Mausoleum committal service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior to service in the chapel. Pastor Michael W. Coblentz officiating. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund. Arrangements by E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
