Marjorie A. Hoffman's Obituary
Marjorie A. Hoffman, 80 of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. Born in Fort Wayne she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Loretta (Long) Smith. She was a R.N. at St. Joseph Medical Center for 25 years and then received her P.A. and worked at Fort Wayne Pediatrics for 19 years till she retired in 1997. Marjorie was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven.
She is survived by her children, Ann (Michael) Meyers of Columbia City, and Edward (Vickie) Hoffman of Hastings, MI; siblings, Patricia Burns of Fort Wayne, "Bruzz" Smith, Ralph Smith, Russell Smith, and Ann Tinnen all of Tampa, FL, William Smith of Tallassee, FL, Betsy Canzoneri of Zepher Hills, FL, and Cheryl Paulson of Tampa, FL; 5 grandchildren, and 1 foster granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hoffman in 2008.
Funeral service is Noon Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling two hours prior. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Burial in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to the St. Mary's Soup Kitchen.
