When I was in high school/nursing school, I worked at St Joe Hospital as a nurses aide and Marge was my boss. She always took the time to teach me and let me do things that helped me in nursing school. I learned a lot from her. She was the ultimate professional but had such a fun side as well. I remember that she always made rum slush for parties (although I was underage and couldn't have any...;)
A few years later I ran across her again at Parkview when she was Dr Steigmeyer's PA. Even though I was an RN by then I never stopped learning from her!

My deepest sympathy to Marge's family...she was my first supervisor on evenings at Saint Joe on the pediatric unit and I worked with her again at Fort Wayne Pediatrics...she was such a good nurse and had such a take charge attitude...she was truly a mentor and taught me so much.

Please accept my sincere sympathy. Marge was a wonderful teacher for me when I was a new nurse on the Pediatric floor at St. Joe Hospital in the 70's. I also had the pleasure of working with her at Fort Wayne Pediatrics. She was an excellent mentor and role model. God bless you all.
