Louis E. Treadway, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Layland, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Dotridge and Pearl (McClung) Treadway. He was a member of Woodburn Missiona Read Obituary
I remember him taking our family photos at the family reunions. Such a wonderful man and so blessed to have know him and he will be greatly missed.
Grand memories of Uncle Louis could fill a book, from my early days spending time in Maplewood when he was just dating Helena, the movies he took of family gatherings and then would show them in reverse, Christmas’ in St. Albans with Santa visiting his kids and then Uncle Don and Aunt Ann’s kids, the greatly missed Treadway get-togethers. Uncle Louis was always there! Thanks for the memories, Uncle Louis!
I will always remember Uncle Louis, Aunt Helena, Terrie, and Randy (and Skippy too) coming to our house in St. Albans when we were kids. Uncle Louis teased me mercilessly and I loved him for it. Our family reunions were kept in check by this family; we always remembered thanking God for all we had while Uncle Charlie was entertaining in the other room with his colorful jokes. All of these memories will forever be in my mind. Uncle Louis always had a smile for everyone. He was also steadfast in his faith and in his duties as a husband and father. He was a good man and served well in his life. I am sure he is in Heaven.

My sympathies to you and your family. I remember Louie's many talks at Bob's and at various gatherings when we lived in Woodburn. He is now with the Lord and able visit with my brother Kent, who he knew at B.F. Goodrich. My brother died this past January in Alabama. May the Lord bless you with his comfort and peace.
