With deepest sympathy
I remember doing things with Linda at St Peter's Lutheran Church in Wausau. She was about 5 years older than me so I looked up to her. Rest in peace Linda, Glad you don't have to fight cancer any longer (but, of course, I wish you could have beat it!)
The first hymn at church tonight brought tears to my eyes with happy memories with you. "Shall we gather at the river, where bright angel feet have trod, with its crystal tide forever flowing by the throne of God?" So many adventures we had together but one of my favorite was our dangerous excursion over the rapids on the Wisconsin river. God was watching over us then and now you are able to gather at the river with Sam and Grandpa and Christ. You have taught me so much and I am truly blessed to have had you in my life. I look forward to our next great excursion. "Yes we will gather at the river the beautiful river, gather with the saints at the river that flows by the throne of God".
Wishing we could be there with our family today and tomorrow. We love you all and you are in our prayers. We have all been blessed in so many ways to have had Aunt Linda in our lives. What a wonderful example of a Christian mother. We all look forward to being reunited one day at our Savior 's glorious promised return. We live in sure and certain hope of all that is to come.
May you find comfort in knowing that Linda has won the victory over death through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I feel privileged that we became friends at CSP and through the years shared with each other our joys and sorrows. What a joyful reunion it will be to one day join Linda and all the saints in joyous praise around our Lord's throne!
Linda was a great aunt to me (Maryann Flores). She showed me that you can manage to live far away from your family and love them with all your heart. She showed me strength and that smiling makes the world better.
I am so saddened to read of Linda's death. I went to Hewitt Texas elementary & Horace Mann middle school with Linda, she was always such a sweet person. We lost contact over the high school years but I have thought of her often. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.
Even as a child Linda was such a caring gentle person. She was a good friend of mine from Hewitt Texas Elementary School in Wausau, Wisconsin and we spent lots of time at each other's homes. Just last summer I made a point to drive by her childhood home to relive some memories spent there. I am so very sorry for your loss. (((Hugs)))
I will always remember Linda stopping in the station for her morning cappuccino. She was always so friendly! We will miss her too !!
