Leroy Hege's Obituary
Leroy Hege, 70, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Woodburn, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Roy and Vida Hege. He was the owner and operator of Hege Excavating and the developer and owner of the Woodburn Mobile Home Park.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marianna Hege; children, Rene (Alan) Castleman of Woodburn, Greg (Sandy) Hege of Fishers, Lisa (Greg) Stieglitz of Noblesville, and Troy (Claire Fiddian-Green) Hege of Indianapolis; ten grandchildren; and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by daughter, Nina Marie.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Matthew 25 or S.C.A.N..
