My dear Marianna and all your beloved family.
I am saddened today at Leeroy's passing and share your grief and great loss at this time.
I have wonderful memories of Leeroy and will always cherish the times I spent with him and all of you. He enriched my life and taught me a great deal about the importance of family, especially in being fully present for each one as he was. He set us all a shining example.
Lee was always very gracious and hospitable to me and welcomed my daughter, Claire, and Nina and Alice and me into the heart of his family. In the loving union between Troy and Claire we became one. It was a privilege to be around Lee and share in his pride for all of us. He was a true "pater familias" and the mold has been broken with his sad passing today.
Lee will live on in your and in all of our hearts, and in this way, he will never truly die. I will remember him fondly.
May the peace that passeth all understanding embrace you and comfort you all this night and always. And now may Lee rest in his eternal peace.
