L. M. "Bud" Poyser, Jr., 67, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Born in Wolf Lake, he served his country in Vietnam for the US Navy on the USS Joseph Strauss. He owned and operated Halter Sales, Inc. in New Haven and Read Obituary
We have been away and just learned of Bud's passing. We are so sorry and our hearts go out to the family. We have raced with the family for years and supported their efforts. Just found out about your Dads passing while doing research on the internet. I'll always remember the race at Indy, where your dad made us feel so welcome. My deepest condolences to your entire family.
So sad to here the terrible news, he meant so much to not only me but the entire racing community.. He will be greatly missed and Heaven just got allot more personality!!

I so enjoyed working with Bud at ITT. I remember years ago when I was a much younger, still "wet-behind-the-ears" engineer, that he encouraged me and treated me with respect. Bud had a great way of making even the mot technical of subjects so practical and even fun. He was a good man!

Bud will be sadly missed by all that knew him. He made great contributions to ITT and was a good employee. I met Bud one day when he had run out of gas and was walking out of the TAC complex at ITT. I picked him up and we got gas. Later, he transferred into our department. I was grateful when the employees called me after I had transferred to Virginia to speak with Bud in the conference room for his retirement. I was a pleasure knowing him.

So very sorry to hear about the loss of Bud. I worked with him at ITT a number of years ago and can still remember his great smile and wonderful attitude. No matter how bad a day you were having Bud could always bring a smile to your face.
He will be missed. It truly was an honor and priviledge to have known him.
I first met Bud in 1995 when I started working for ITT at Pontiac Street. Bud was always friendly, positive and upbeat. He will be missed by everyone.
