Justin Robert "Jess" Voirol's Obituary
Justin Robert "Jess" Voirol, 77, of Fort Wayne, formerly of New Haven, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at his home unexpectedly. Born in Allen County, He was the son of the late Leo and Cecilia (Lopshire) Voirol. He was a graduate of New Haven High School. He retired after working 30 years as a software engineer with Raytheon of Fort Wayne. He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War. After serving his country he graduated from Indiana Purdue University, Fort Wayne with a degree in computer science. Jess enjoyed playing golf, and bridge, but especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his brother, William (Sally) Voirol; nieces and nephews, Debbie (John) Bales, Chuck (Lisa) Gladieux, Tammy Adams, William Voirol Jr., Tracy Voirol, Lauren (Voirol) Beck, Erin (Voirol) Jury, Jack Voirol, Christina Hensel, Kelly Woods, Charles Voirol, and Alex Voirol. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jack and Charlie Voirol, and Nancy Gladieux; nieces and nephews, Michael Gladieux, Michelle Gladieux, Becky Gladieux, Danny Gladieux, Jess Voirol, Charlene Hasch, Billy Woods, Mary Lou Voirol, Shelly Voirol.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, IN. with visitations two hours prior (9-11 am). Burial in St. Louis Besancon Catholic Cemetery with military honors.
