Janet and family, sorry to hear of Jack's death. When I think of Jack over all the years I have known him ,I would say he was full of life, loved to be with people and that family was important to him ,including cousins.
I loved all the years Auntie Blanche and Uncle Clifford's family and ours would spend Thanksgiving together taking turns going to each other's homes. I remember all the bus trips to Chicago and even taking the bus to Hobart for a reunion and hockey game.
Sure remember sledding down the hill in winter and watching the gold fish in the pond at the edge of the yard in the summer and always being treated to a bottle of pop at the bus barn that was in a coke cooler and being served ice cream with chocolate sauce each visit to Auntie Blanche's.
My dad making sure that Jack met Janet after he came home from service ,for we were related to both sides. My dad had many fun times with James,(Jacks brother) .I sure enjoyed seeing his hobby of working trains that filled the basement of James's house and cocker spaniel dog.
Those years were special and filled with lots of memories .
May God comfort you at this time and allow you to reflect on all your years of memories.
Sorry we can't be there .
