Suzanne and family,

To the entire family of Joan Rausch--- Sending you all my love and condolences. Your Mom/ grandma was a strong lady and her living to age 95 certainly shows this. She was blessed to have a wonderful husband and loving family. She also blessed all of you with her love, faithfulness, support and prayers.
I have many fond memories of Joan... Jim's and my wedding in 1996. My daughter Valerie's wedding in 2021. I remember Francis and Joan coming to Texas to stay with us. She loved getting her hands in soil and loved to plant flowers and a garden. Since this was my most unfavorable thing to do, I certainly welcomed Joan's presence in our Texas flowerbeds!
Another thing I loved and fondly remember is Joan's homemade cinnamon rolls and good bread. Her molasses cookies were fought over! And of course, her famous chicken and homemade noodles. She "tried" to teach me, but I failed.
I was most impressed with the love between Joan and her husband Francis.
Her mission was to take care of Francis and the loving friendship they shared was very noticeable. I can still see them cuddled together on our sofa watching the "weather channel" (over and over)!!! LOL!
Joan was always crocheting blankets for everyone, and she helped me learn this art. Now, I am crocheting baby blankets for the pregnancy help center and enjoying it as much as Joan did.
I know you will all miss her so much but remember this... Joan is a happy peaceful lady because she is with her husband and her Jesus!
Love, Zoya Rausch
