Jean C. Becker's Obituary
Jean C. Becker, 79, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Julia Bobay. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School class of 1951. Jean was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church, Fort Wayne and an active member of the St. Vincent's DePaul Society, Allen County Right to Life, Columbian Ladies, and was a past president of the Eagle Forum.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John; children, Timothy J. (Mary) Becker of Flossmoor, IL and Julia K. (Ian) Howell of Bedford, NH; and brother, Kenneth (Joann) Bobay of Cincinnati, OH; seven grandchildren; and two great granddaughters.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Dr., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior to service. Father Tom Shoemaker officiating. Calling is also 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Masses, St. Vincent's DePaul Society, or Gibault School, Terre Haute, Indiana.
