John, our friendship with you and Jean goes back a long time and is highly valued. I'm sorry that distance prevents me from attending the service. Once things settle for you if you'd like to spend some time in the Sunshine State of FL please come visit us - our guest room is always open.

This is one of those occasions when I wished that we lived closer to Ft. Wayne. I cannot express how much I want to be there with you in the coming days…to celebrate Jean’s life. I will always remember her smile and her God given ability to make people feel warm and welcome. And I have always admired her strong passion and conviction for championing conservative causes and a knack to see through the baloney and hypocrisy in the world.
I have fond memories of stopping through Ft. Wayne on my way to Purdue, and of course the summers at the lake. And still picture my dad’s older sister taking the “summer off” when she was a young girl, watching all of the other kids play and swim, while she rest and recover.

Mr. Becker, I'm so sorry for your loss. I just want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. You need to know that you were my favorite teacher at Harding. I will always remember your encouraging words, as I had a difficult time with math. I am a teacher today partly because of you (not a math teacher). :) Thank you for your dedication and service. You are a true follower of Christ. God gave you a wonderful gift...the gift of caring and teaching. "Iron sharpens iron; so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17. John, I was so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. She was a mighty warrior for righteousness and truth. She was such an inspiration for me as I started AFA of Indiana in 1993 and on. As we battled soany evils in Ft. Wayne, you both were so faithful!! i am blessed to have known her. You are in our prayers.

I am sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. Jean was a strong and faithful Christian, who stood up for her principles and for the rights of the un-born, for that I respected her greatly. She will be missed, but we know that she is at home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jean was one of the first Christian Activists I ever met. Her zeal for the Truth and the historic Faith helped me find the RCC.
