My best friend from grade school through high school. We got to talk from time to time over the years and loved reminiscing about our times together with our friend Brenda and at Crooked Lake where her family had a cottage. I was so impressed with how well she handled a boat. We got to connect again at our 45th High School reunion. We drove around New Haven that weekend just to look at the old haunts. She mentioned she had always wanted to see again the house she grew up in, but someone else lived there now. I said let's do it. So we summoned the courage to knock on their door and Jane got to take off tour of the whole house. It was fun to share that moment with her and also see that she hadn't changed from being the same fun loving, funny, thoughtful friend she was all those many years ago.
