As a child I remember James dropping in to see Grandma Posey, she would be so excited to see him. He was larger than life, he would tell us what project he was involved in and where he was going. I am sure she is glad that he just dropped into heaven. He was a uncle to be proud of. Lachona and I enjoyed watching his service on line. Praying for all of you.
James Martin Long, and his beloved espoused, Martha Jean Kellogg, were team players as star basketball player and cheerleader in their your youth and through-out their life. Construction and Design of Fashions were highlights in their contributions in household and business circles. Whatever was needed they had a solution to bring to the table with good results. As the Alpha-Bet Letters of their Names indicate, JKLM, James Martin & Martha Jean were in the midst with Faith, Family and Farming through out their journey.
I met Jim about 3 years ago at riches cafe in new haven. And looked forward to seeing him in the morning and everyone would say good morning Jim! As he came in. And our friendship felt like me and my grandpa hanging. So everyday when I'd leave after breakfast, I would give him a hug. I will greatly missed those hugs from him. He was a very generous and loving guy. He will be missed every day.R.I.P love you much
