James Craig Bradley's Obituary
James "Jim" Craig Bradley, 82, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at home with his family by his side. Born in Cleveland, Ohio he was the son of the late James and Josephine (Weirman) Bradley. He proudly served his country with the US Marine Corp in the Cuban Missile Crisis. He received his PhD in fluid dynamics and was an honorary member of Dartmouth College Class of 1994. He was a Six Sigma Master Black Belt engineer for Navistar retiring in 2007. An avid sports fan and athlete, he played organized ice hockey well into his 60's. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue; children, Julia (Edgar) Cabrera of Batavia, IL, Shelly (Jason) Morris of New Haven, and Shane Bradley of Lake Geneva, WI; grandchildren, Scott, Elena, and Kayla; and great grandchildren, Clayton, Autumn, and Bryson. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon in 2004. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E, New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven with military honors.
