Marine Corps League Detachment #1435 Pride and Purpose Fort Wayne extends our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers to Sue, family and friends. Jim was not a member of our Detachment, but he was a Marine. Once a Marine. Always a Marine. Jim, you stand relieved. We have your watch. Fair winds and following seas. Rest easy, Marine. Semper Fi.
I will miss Jim. He stayed in contact over the years and always had something funny to share. His story about accidentally taking down the Christmas lights with the snowblower was a classic (I think his wife may have done that?)
My sincere condolences to the family. Jim was one of a kind.

So very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing! I worked with Sue for a long time and met Jim at church! He always had a smile on his face and I enjoyed his talks and jokes! Thoughts and prayers go out to Sue and the family! Gods Blessings to all and always cherish the moments and as your special Angel, Jim will be looking down from above! Love you Laura & Tim Wolfe💕❤️
It was always a pleasure spending time with Jim. He made me think.
Jim was our neighbor for the last 7 years. We feel so blessed to have gotten to know him and his wife Sue over the years. Both of my sons are engineers so we had lots of great conversations to share with Jim, as well as talking about his love of fishing. Actually, Jim loved everything that was important to him. The world was a better place because of all the impacts Jim made on those who met him. He will be missed. Sue, you and your family are so in our thoughts and prayers. Always, the Britton family.
