Well grandpa its been along timel, so much has changed. In 2016 I joined the U.S. Army's Ordnance Corps, and thays pretty much become my life. Although much has changed I still miss you and your stories. Your stories inspired me to see the world and make my own. It's shocking at 20 all I've done, I never imagined all I would accomplish. I know my time on earth is anybodys guess but I look forward to seeing you and so many when my time comes. But for now I ask that you watch over me. I will always miss ya Cpl. Hoeppner

still cant get over loosing grandpa thompson was there when it all happened that easter at the hospital everything i really miss his stories he could tell one hell of a story

My fondest memory was when we would ride around in his big rig. I would ride in the cab and thought it was the coolest thing til he got pulled over by the cops.
Grandpa was subborn, but he loved us so much. He will be greatly missed and loved.

To Eileen & family:

I will always remember Tom for his ornery personality & his great big heart. I'm feeling blessed having known him and hope you find comfort in your memories. Imagine him moving freely again, telling some ornery joke, poking somebody with his old cane and placing a very special, shiny quarter in some little girl's hand. Such a pleasant smile to greet us.

I remember when we where younger and you grew your own veggies and always gave us watermelon and tomatoes. I also remember when you met my Daughter for the first time and how there was four Generations at the table at once. We miss you.
