Sorry to hear of the passing of Herb and that I was unable to make it to the calling or funeral. I recall back when I was a teenager I used to help him on the farm with harvesting and working the ground. I would also have lunch with Nancy and the kids. Also, he used to come into 101 Servicenter and we would banter back and forth about Ford cars vs. GM et. al. Ironically, I drive Fords today. I look back on those days fondly. Chuck Morris

Herb and I have been good friends;back in the "1950 Woodburn Era". I just saw and reminisced with Herb at the Henney viewing at the church. I was very surprised and saddened when I saw the obit. in the paper on Monday eve. Nancy and family: you have my deepest sympathy as Herb was one of the really good juys in Woodburn.
