Helen Kay Walters' Obituary
Helen Kay Walters, 76, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Aletha (Junk) Kohne. Helen was a 1957 graduate of Columbia City Joint High School. She retired in 2004 from K&K Insurance after 8 years and had previously worked for Insurance and Risk Management for 20 years.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis Walters of Goodyear, AZ, Mark (Michelle), Todd (Ann), and Luke (Joanne) Walters all of Fort Wayne; siblings, Richard Kohne of Columbia City, David Kohne of La Jolla, CA, Rita Bronax, and Ruth Small of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry D. Walters in 1983; and siblings, Steve Kohne and Marilyn Mullen.
Family will be receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
