Helen Kay Walters, 76, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Aletha (Junk) Kohne. Helen was a 1957 graduate of Columbia Cit Read Obituary
I was a neighbor of the Kohne family in Decatur, Indiana. My first memory was 1941 and remained in touch with Dave for the rest of his life. I would call Helen through the years touching base from time to time. Sorry for your loss you came from one hell of good family. Leon and Aleatha ( Lil to me) were my second parents. I have fond memories of Helen Kay from my early childhood as she was one of my earliest babysitters. She actually taught me " Go Fish " at the house in Tri Lakes.
Mother (Alvina) enjoyed keeping in touch with her over the years.
