Garnet G. Hisner's Obituary
Garnet G. Hisner, 91, of Hoagland, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Adams Heritage Nursing Home, Monroeville. Born November 10, 1925 to the late Benjamin F. and Goldie R. (Krick) Feasby in Van Wert, OH. She was a lifelong member of Hope United Methodist Church, Hoagland. Garnet worked at Rea Magnet Wire in Fort Wayne for 13 years. She then worked at Heritage Junior Senior High School as a guidance secretary until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (James) Bremer; grandchildren, Kelly James (Stephanie) Bremer of Fort Wayne and Emily (Joe) Smith of Auburn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Hisner.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Stacey Downing officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Hope United Methodist Church or Adams Heritage Nursing Home.
