Dawn and family, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have so many fond memories of high school and being at your home. Know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I grew up in Hoagland & went to Heritage. She was always so sweet. I remember she drove me home after basketball practice one day, when my mom's car got stuck in the snow in Hoagland & couldn't make it out to school. Just her picture made me smile, I knew her right away. She left you a legacy of kindness. Praying for all of you. Gay (Kleinknight ) Rude
I was one of Garnet's guidance counselor's at Heritage Jr-Sr High School. I loved her kindness and thoughtfulness. She never failed to send me a card for every holiday. She and I shared a passion for anything related to the sea.
Garnet was small but mighty. She will be missed by all of us who knew her. My deepest sympathy to her family.

You will be missed, 'Shorty' as I lovingly called you. 💔 You and Gordon were both special friends to Craig and me and the kids. Your gentle spirit, smile and laugh will be remembered. You were a treasure.....til we meet again.
Dawn and family you have my deepest sympathies.
Lots of memories, most of all her smile....... UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.....I'll bring the chocolate.
Dearest Garnet, What wonderful memories I have of you and of Heritage in those "golden" years. You were a special friend and co-worker. We will miss you so at our gatherings when Paula and Mike come to visit from Florida. I will miss your laugh and your queries about Jessamyn and Kate. You will live in our hearts forever.
Dear Dawn, your mother will be missed by all of us who knew her and cared about her. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Most sincerely,
Jim Schmidt - Jeannette and Jessamyn, and Kate.
I graduated from Heritage in 1971 and I remember Garnett from when she worked in the offices there. She always was so friendly, sweet and had a great smile! Much sympathys to the family!
