Frances Mae Lewis' Obituary
Frances Mae Lewis, 86, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne. Born in Muncie, she was the daughter of the late Don and Helen Hawk. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and hosted house church for 12 years. She also enjoyed her time as a member with the Master Gardeners.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Kathy) Lewis of Columbia City and Matt (Belinda) Lewis of Fort Wayne; and sister, Mary Lou Hawk of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bernard Lewis in 2013; and siblings, Jean Burgette, William Fallis Hawk, and Joan Strock.
A Celebration of Frances's life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Nick Robinson officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control, or Visiting Nurse.
