I am Jeffrey Burgette's mother-in-law. I didn't know Fran or Barney very long but I have fond memories of them at the Burgette Thanksgivings the past few years. I am so sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace and be with Barney forever.......
We were involved with the outreach church of Good Shepherd. Fran wanted to help so she donated fresh baked cookies every week for months! She told us that Barney was her official taste tester. We all loved her cookies and loved her giving heart. She and Barney were both special people to the Open Arms congregation. The church gave her an apron which said Cookie Lady. She will be missed by all who knew her.
