Evan Charles Ehinger's Obituary
Evan Charles Ehinger, 50, passed away November 22, 2018 suddenly at his residence. Born in Denver, CO. he was the son of Carl and Naureen (Miller) Ehinger. He was a mechanic and owned and operated Evan’s Automotive, Fort Wayne. Evan was an avid hunter, trapper, and fisherman. He also enjoyed following the Colts and the Cubs. Most of all a proud father. He is also survived by his son, Joshua Ehinger of Fort Wayne; siblings, Matthew Ehinger, Brenda (Scott) Kerns, and Sharon Ehinger all of Fort Wayne; nieces, Meghan, Alyson, and Amber Neff; great-nephew, Aiden Vaillancourt. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one-hour prior. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 6 to 8 p.m. at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E. New Haven. Burial in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to St. Joe Conservation Club of St. Joe, IN, or St. John the Baptist Church, New Haven, or Masses.
