Erma L. Henderson, 87, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Woodview Healthcare, Fort Wayne. Born in Ossian, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Marie (Witte) Werling. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Ha Read Obituary
I am in the Christian Welfare Circle, and have been for 30 years. Erma was a very special person to me, and will sincerely miss her. It was so wonderful of her grand-daughter to bring her to Emanuel for Sunday Services, and always enjoyed talking with Erma. Your family has my deepest sympathy, she will be truly missed.

Erma got me started doing LWR quilts. After I retired I got to start coming all the time. We will miss Erma.
May The Lord be with you always. Your mom & dad were such good friends to us during our years in the State Police Family together. We have lots of wonderful memories. Dick & Frank Matthews & Ralph were a very good "team" of Troopers.
Your moms work in the L.W.M.L. was showing the love of Jesus to all.

Dear Corinne, Tim, Helene, Iverna, Ruth, Jackie, Melissa, Emily, Ian, Graham, and all other family members and friends of Erma,
Since our dear "sister" Erma, has received her call from Jesus to come “home,” our emotions are deeply touched as we miss her greatly, but at the same time, are lifted as we know that she has been able to be reunited with husband, Dick, daughter, Marla, brother, Wilmer, and parents, Rufus and Marie, and many other Christian family members and friends with no more sadness, illness, or disappointments. PTL!
Your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and sister-in-law, Erma, is now seated around the heavenly banquet table with Jesus. What a beautiful and joyous setting!
Erma had a long, active, and full life and, now, she is looking forward to a wonderful "Henderson Family” reunion when you join her at your appointed time.
