It's been wonderful getting to know Dorothy and exchanging Christmas cards and sometimes letters over the past years. She always was a good friend to my mother and supporter of my dad. I truly admired her bravery when she wrote about her cancer and that she simply told the doctors "No" and "Goodbye" when they gave her their plan of treatment.
