We are so sorry to hear the loss of Don. I wish I could have known him much better than I did. I remember Don in my younger days. He was a good man. We will keep the family in our prayers at this difficult time. Just remember memories are everything.
Marilyn and family I’m sorry to hear about Don’s death. Many years ago when I was a young State Trooper, young Don and I were assigned to the eastern part of Allen County. I was always glad to see when Don arrived as back at a scene. We spent many hours together at New Haven PD over a cup of coffee doing our reports. May God be with now and always. Ralph Selking, (State Police Retired )
My sincere condolences to the Gebert Family. It was an honor to have worked with Don at the Allen County Sheriff's Department.

You all have my sincerest sympathy on the passing of your father. May he rest in peace.
What a great man. Don had a way of making sure you felt welcome and I enjoyed being around him. I was blessed to be good friends with all of his sons over the last 40 plus years. Prayers to you all!
Very sorry to hear of the Gebert family loss. This is the time we practice the upstanding character we have been shown and know we are expected to live up to it.
I only met your Dad once in stature, as I rode my bike past the house you all grew up in, standing on the front step, yelling for you guys to get home! He did ask me that one time if I had seen you? I said, "they're at the park!" He just shook his head, as if he should have known that, and went inside.
RIP to your Dad and God Bless your family in this very trying time.
