Dolores V. Stratton's Obituary
Dolores V. Stratton, 96, of New Haven, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Gerardot) Bowers. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She enjoyed playing BINGO, playing cards, going to the community center, sewing, and was known for being a social butterfly.
She is survived by her children, James Stratton, Michael (Sue) Stratton, Charles (Debbie) Stratton, Timothy Statton, and Diana Cox; siblings, John (Carol) Bowers, Leonard Bowers, Marie Chandler, 11 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles in 2003.
Family will receive friends from 11 am to 2 pm Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Private graveside service to follow in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to First Baptist Church, New Haven for the weekly food and bread ministry.
