so sorry for your loss mike, may your mother RIP...
She was my friend and my mother-in-law. I miss this sweet lady dearly. She was indeed the life of the party. Every family event we had, the party didn’t start until Dolores arrived! She made us laugh with how she described an ordinary day in her life. The last visit at her house, when I escorted her to bed, she said “please promise you will never forget me”. My response was, “I will never forget you Dolores”. And I never will. She was truly one of a kind! Love you 😘 Heaven gained an angel 😇
I didn’t know her well, but knew most of her sons and daughter. I also knew of her though Krystal, one of my daughters closest friends and my good neighbor. She came to the doctor’s office where I worked, a few times, and I could tell she was always the life of the party. She gave me a cross necklace made of wood, spreading God’s love! A good friend of mine now lives in her old home on Brandt Point and I think of Delores each time I go there or drive by. My sympathy and prayers to family.
My love, hugs and deepest sympathy to my cousins: Jim, Mike, Charlie, Tim and Diana on the loss of your Mother.
Where to begin on memories of my Aunt Dolores ... she was truly, one of a kind! She was such a sweetie and always up for fun! Where we going she would ask... I'll be ready! Or, she would call me, just to talk and always ask, when you coming over or whenever I would call her, she would immediately ask, you coming over? She loved to get out and socialize! Don't let those numbers in her age fool you or that walker ... let's just say, she loved to have a great time and she could still get around in her kitchen dancing to the hokey pokey!! Oh what fond memories! She always called me on my birthday and upon me answering, the singing would start and then end with I Love You! I know her days here on earth were getting very, very hard for her. In her words, she would tell me "I think I'm at the end of my rope". I'm going to miss her dearly, her phone calls, her laughter and hugs, but I have to smile knowing she's in heaven now, pain free, singing and dancing. Thank you Dolores for being such a special Aunt to me. I love you so much 💗

-My heartfelt Sympathy to my Cousins in the passing of your wonderful mother, my Aunt Dolores.
-She was definitely one of a kind. She had the best personality, she was kind, funny, loved playing games (liked to win), she was a Faithful Woman of God, she was honest, she had a cute little girl giggle, a great smile, a big laugh, she loved hugs. She was always appreciative for a visit or any treat you brought her, she would “Thank You” a dozen times.
-I remember visiting Aunt Dolores at Sambo’’s Rstr in the 1970’s & the KFC Pancake House both where she was such a popular waitress that people waited for a table in her section when other tables were available!! I was in awe! I became a waitress myself for a few years because of her pushing me to do so (no regrets).
-These past years have been physically difficult keeping her from driving & her love of sewing. I do believe she is now happy, healthy & on her way to Heaven to reap her rewards of a life well lived.
Thank you for Blessing my Life all these years Aunt Dolores,
Niece Cheryl Voirol-Ort
Grandma, So many memories I hold dear to my heart. You were the one that inspired me to sew, I’ll always remember the sound of you whistling and dancing the jitter bug. I love you forever and always. 💜 Krystal 🪻
Delores you always brought a smile to my face and laughter to my soul. I liked how you always told it like it is. You will be missed dearly.
