Della Campbell's Obituary
Della Campbell, 88, of New Haven, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Perry County, Hazard, KY she was the daughter of the late John and Sally (Miller) Neace. She was a member of Maples United Methodist Church. She was a quilter and an avid sports lover who cheered on the University of Kentucky basketball team and the Chicago Cubs.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mack Campbell Jr.; children, Mack L. (JeanAnn) Campbell of Monroeville, Paul (Susan) Campbell of Fort Wayne, Geneva Hosmer of Louisville, KY, Laura Pierce of Kendallville, Millie Faye Tieman of Auburn, and Susan (Bill) Schnelker of Bellevue; sisters, Reva Campbell of Hazard, KY and Jeanetta Campbell of Montpelier; 22 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother; four sisters, one great great granddaughter; one step daughter; and one step son.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Kyle Mills and Diane Elwood officiating. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Riley Children’s Hospital.
