Della Campbell, 88, of New Haven, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Perry County, Hazard, KY she was the daughter of the late John and Sally (Miller) Neace. She was a member of Read Obituary
Della watched my two sons when they were very little. She was a great friend and loved my boys as her own grandchildren. We lost touched as my family made many moves, but Matt and James always remembered her as the best "grandma" ever.

I loved spending time with Della. Such a sweet and strong lady. I loved quilting her quilts, and still own some of the ones we traded. I will cherish them even more now.

For some reason, I had a dream the other night about my time spent in Della's home and her basement with my bandmates and her son, Mack...and then I learned of her passing. She exemplified the gift of hospitality...I,and many others, always felt welcome in her home. Della was a sweet, gentle soul and a Godly, kind woman...and a darn good cook! I am deeply grieved to hear of her passing. The world will be lesser with her absence. Heaven will be richer...May the Lord bless her and her family... -Allen
I will always remember Aunt Della. The whole family would visit us every summer in their camper. What a wonderful , caring, giving, loving and WISE woman she was. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten, for she will forever remain in our hearts and memories. Love you Aunt Della. Save a place for me in Heaven.
