Grandpa was my hero, and I suspect he was that for many others as well. He was a kind man, a tough man, a hard working man, an humble man, and a funny man. He always made us laugh. But more than anything, he was a lucky man because he was able to spend his life with one of the best ladies I know.

I will forever remember you as the best Grampi in the entire world. You were always so kindhearted, loving, giving man, and so much more. I miss your hugs and kisses and our chats, and advise. All the laughter and jokes we will never forget. I’m so happy my mom Jill, my sister Amber and I had the best visit in July. It’s one we will never forget. Old memories and new ones! My grandparents after my parents divorced, they always said our mom(Jill) Lawson will always be their daughter. They loved my mom so much. I envy them so very much and what a true love story! They told me the key to a happy marriage and that I won’t share. That’s top secret. Grampi, my only regret is I wish you would have walked me down the aisle at our wedding. That day is one we all will remember forever. The love my grandparents had is the true meaning of love! We lived so far away we didn’t have the chance to spend as much time as we all would have liked. We didn’t have memories that all the other grandkids had. Grampi I will never forget you taking us fishing and making us try that nasty chewing tobacco. 🤣 You made the world so bright! No love story will ever be what my grandparents had! To my beautiful Gramii. I always call her and say hi beautiful! Grami you have helped me figure out things in my life, the good the bad! You always give the best advise and guidance. Grampi I hope you dancing in the sky like you did at our wedding 😂! You will forever be missed by all of us and our hearts are just shattered! You were an amazing Grampi and great Grampi. Glad I gave you the first great grandchild! We will all ways keep you in our hearts and we will never forget you! I wish we could be there to support our family.
