Dallas E. Dodane's Obituary
Dallas E. Dodane, 77, of Woodburn died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Parkview Hospital- Randallia, Ft. Wayne. Born in rural Allen County, Indiana he was the son of the late Elmer and Minerva Dodane. He attended the First Christian Church, Kendallville and was a long- time member of the Southwest Conservation Club. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.
He retired in 1997 from the Zollner Corporation as a machinist/mold maker after 40 years of service.
Dallas is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cari; children: Dawn (Bob) Rosier of Woodburn, , Tara (Jason) Meagher of Ft. Myers, FL, Douglas (Kat) Dodane of Auburn, Robin (Daron) Aldrich of Indianapolis, Keith (Shirley) Kankovsky of Kendallville; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded by a granddaughter Andrea Nicole Dodane and Helen Dodane.
Funeral service is 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with Dr. Tom Clothier officiating. Visitation is 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., Monday, July 30, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial is in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Ft. Wayne. In lieu of flowers, please remember Dallas with a contribution to the Southwest Conservation Club.
