Craig A. Robison's Obituary
Craig A. Robison, 56, of New Haven passed away, Friday, July 1, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was a Detective Sergeant for the New Haven Police Dept., serving for 21 years.
He was a Deputy Allen County Coroner, member of the Indiana Coroner’s Assoc., Special Deputy U.S. Marshall, member of the Federal Bank Robbery Task Force, Fraternal Order of Police and D.A.R.E. Officer. He served for 27 years as a member and past president of the New Haven Festival Committee.
Craig is survived by his wife: Sharon Robison; children: Adam (Monica) Robison of Ft. Wayne, Ryan (Bradee) Lauver of Meyersdale, PA, Emily Lauver of Ft. Wayne, Aleighsha & Amanda Memmer of Ft. Wayne, Arika Iole Robison, Hannah & Abigail Richter all of New Haven; mother, Shirley Robison, brother, Geoffrey L. (Janice) Robison and sister, Julia A. Robison all of New Haven; grandchildren; Alyssa, Jessica, Bailey, Andrew, Logan and Bryson “Buster” and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Harold S. Robison, June 28, 2011 and brother, Phillip Robison in 1995.
Funeral service is 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Grace Gathering, 3157 Minnich Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 2 to 5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Robison for a charity to be determined.
