Catherine "Kate" Roth's Obituary
Catherine “Kate” Ann Roth, 70, of New Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Carol (Hemminger) Doak. She worked at Casa D’Angelo on Fairfield for many years and later at Hall’s Prime Rib. She enjoyed her dogs, cooking, growing roses, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Monica (Brandon Eagleson) Roth; brothers, Tim (Christine), Ed (Pamm), Paul (Cheryl), Phil (Patty), Marty (Lynn), Andy (Julie), and Christian (Dawn) Doak; sisters, Tess Burks, Rita (Dave) Brockhouse, and Angie (Dave) Derloshon; and grandchildren, Natalie and Jayden Roth, Madison and Brayden Eagleson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dan and Pete Doak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 2120 South Harrison Street, Fort Wayne, with visitations one hour prior (9-10am). Visitation with viewing is also 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the grandchildren’s education fund, c/o Monica Roth
