Kay will greatly missed by those who knew her, especially the class of 43 at Central. She was a joy to know and to be around. Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to her family and especially to hew two sons who faithfully saw that "mom" got to the monthly luncheons at Triangle Park.

I remember as a child, going to the home of bill and kay. My parents Dee and Joe Leiter would play cards with bill and kay. I remember always, the smell of the popcorn. I will always cherish the memory, and how kind kay was. Julie Leiter Rietdorf
I am so sorry to hear of Kay's passing. It was my honor knowing her and to do her hair for her. She was a kindred spirit and I will miss her and our special hour together on Friday's. Although I never met "Grammy", I feel a special connection through all the wonderful stories Kate has shared over the almost 20 years of our friendship. My prayers and love go out to the whole family at this very difficult time.
