Cleo was one of the wsrmest, compassionate, and loving people I have known. What an example. What a gift. As the counselor at Southwick, I knew I could always count on her to have the students’ best interests at heart. It was an honor to work with her and to call her my friend.

I was very fortunate to have Mrs. Fox for two years for both third and fourth grades at Southwick Elementary. She was such a great teacher and person. I was in her class during the Challenger disaster, and she was so strong and supportive in helping her students deal with that event. I will always remember her for the encouragement and guidance she provided to me and how strongly she believed in her students success. Goodbye, Mrs. Fox.

Cleo was a wonderful friend and teacher. I was fortunate to be her classroom assistant her first year teaching at Deer Ridge Elementary. What an adventure...she made learning fun! Attached is a photo from one of her retirement celebrations. Some of us had taken her to lunch and hired a limo to transport her back to school. Cherish your memories of a special lady.

Cleo was my daughter's fourth grade teacher at Deer Ridge Elementary. She was an amazing person and teacher. She always went the extra mile for the kids in her class. I was always so grateful that Victoria was part of her classroom. I am so sorry for her family. I hope that you find comfort in knowing she was loved by so many.

Cleo had her students sell flowers as an entrepreneur experience...lovely carnations. I loved getting those from my students. She was an excellent teacher and colleague and had a contagious laugh. I admired her a great deal. Rest in God's peace Cleo!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Cleo! I worked with Cleo for five years at Deer Ridge Elementary. Lon and Mike, not sure if you remember me, but when I was Marcia Gerber, I worked with both of you at Thursday's Child. Cleo was always such a vibrant, "perky" personality! I will never forget one year when a young college student came to school to observe Cleo. It happened to be Halloween and Cleo was dressed up as a dog. After meeting this young man, she handed him the leash that was around her neck and said, "Here, you can walk me for the Haolloween parade!" And he did! Cleo was always so upbeat and positive and I often bent her ear with my issues. She always listened!
